Once you do that you can than build and play in your main neighborhood. Your in Uni and would like to go back to the Main Neighborhood to build all you have to do is go into neighborhood view than along the top you'll see the multiple circles for the different eps and if you click on some of them they'll lead you to an option to go to the sub-neighborhoods, in the corner you'll see one with an arrow in it when you select it it should ask if you'd like to go back to your main neighborhood. Now because the neighborhoods are split into districts it's very easy to go from one to the other. Now say you've created your sims and are ready to move them in you can chose for your sims to live in the Main neighborhood (Belladonna Cove, Pleasant View.etc.) if you've added in the sub-neighborhoods (downtown, Bluewater Village.etc) you can chose to live in one of those.įor sims you want to start out in Uni you have to create them in the Uni neighborhood. To find your Library folder, click on your Desktop, find the 'Go' command at the top in the Finder, hold your cursor button over Go and press the Option key on your keyboard at the same time and Library will show when you do that. So let's say you load up a neighborhood to play in the neighborhood you can add in the different sub-hoods like your downtown, Bluewater Village, your vacation towns, and the Uni towns. The Sims 2 files for the Mac are hidden in your Library folder instead of in the Documents folder. Because when you leave a household time stops for that household until you go back to them. You can even switch between the different sub-neighborhoods to play families in them or to build. So you can have as many families you'd like in one neighborhood to play and can switch between them as often as you'd like. You don't have to create a new save or worry an old save will be overwritten in the sims 2 the time doesn't move like in sims 3.
